The Real Review Winery of the Year Australia 2025 - Wine by Farr is the pre-eminent winery in the Geelong region, its vineyards and winery located at Bannockburn in the Moorabool Valley just outside Geelong city.
It’s the second time in four years that Wine by Farr has won this accolade, the previous occasion being 2022. They are pinot noir specialists, with chardonnay of equal standing in importance if not in numbers of individual bottlings. Shiraz and viognier are also produced, at a level of quality and character on par with the pinots and chardonnays. Nick Farr also produces an excellent gamay and a rosé style named Saignée under the Farr Rising label. These wines and others produced in the past year see the Farrs at the top of their game.
