Portugal

Portugal has a rich history of winemaking that can be traced all the way back to the Romans. It is of course home to one of the world's great treasures, Douro. is Portugal's premier wine region, producing the fortified port styles and superb table wine. The region is currently producing its best wines ever. But Portugal is much more than just fortified wines. From the keen sapidity of the Vino Verde wines of the north, to the magnificent table wines of the Dão, Bairrada, Alentejo and Colares wine regions, it is currently one of the most exciting wine regions in the world.
