Leclerc Briant

Champagne Leclerc Briant, this exciting house was founded in 1872 in Cumieres before moving to Epernay in 1955 when the ‘Leclerc Briant’ negociant firm was formed. Family owned and operated by the Leclerc Family up until 2012, when the sudden death of Pascal Leclerc, one of the pioneers of biodynamics in the region, forced the sale. Luckily, it was purchased by American couple Mark Nunnelly and Denise Dupré. They took ownership of the house in partnership with current Managing Director Frédéric Zeimett, a native of Champagne with vast experience in the world of fine wine. Together with another trailblazing biodynamic viticulturist, Hervé Jestin, the vision of the Leclerc Family lives on today. These champagnes have a specific energy and seductiveness.
