Domaine Rossignol-Février

Founded in 1774 (15 years pre-French Revolution), Rossignol-Février farmed vines like Burgundy did then: by hand and horse, mixed crops between rows, and wines largely bottled by merchants. Estate bottling began here in 1922, and that decision still shapes the identity of the wines today. Frédéric Rossignol has led the domaine since 1993; from 2005 to 2012, he converted the vineyards to biodynamics, keeping the core practices - manual harvest, careful sorting, and selective whole clusters, while refining the details.
