2015 Pulenta Estate Gran Cabernet Franc 750mL - 6 Bottle Pack
Est. range:
Tax included.
Fruit for the Pulenta Estate Gran Cabernet Franc XI is sourced entirely from the Finca La Zulema vineyard in Agrelo, where the well-drained, rocky soil is perfectly suited to this grape variety. The vines were planted in 1992 and sit at an altitude of 980 metres which creates a climate that enables the vibrant aromatic character of Cabernet Franc to thrive. Matured for 12 months in French oak this Cabernet Franc is deep ruby in colour, with an intense aroma of roasted pepper, eucalyptus and tobacco with black plum and blueberry character. To begin the palate is sweet and smooth, with round and ripe tannins, then succulent blue fruits continue to develop with well integrated spice notes that endure on the long succulent finish.
-----
Pulenta Estate is a family-owned operation, established in 2002 by Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta in honour of their pioneering father, Antonio Pulenta. Previous owners of the internationally renowned Trapiche Winery, the Pulenta family are well-versed in exceptional wine production.
The estate is located in Mendoza, Argentina’s main wine producing region; situated on two sites, Alto Agrelo and Uco Valley. This excellent site makes wines of real class and distinction. The 135 hectares are planted with Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Pulenta enjoys excellent climate conditions being 980 meters above sea level. The brothers’ philosophy is expressed as: “Making a great wine is an act of generosity, considering always the one who will taste it. Our mission is to produce limited series of great wines, proudly made in Argentina.”

Buying At Auction?
Your Questions, Answered
What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.
What are your freight charges?
Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.
Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
