Another powerful expression of what the Yamhill-Carlton district is capable of achieving. Intense mountain blackberry compote aromas and crushed granite immediately leap from the glass. Shaved pencil led and a brambly sweet leather character begin to emerge around a core of roasted plum and herbs. Aggressive and masculine in the outset on the palate, the wine then gently softens for a moment only to constrict with an intensive youthfulness. Candied fennel and upright blue fruits begin to take over as the wine broadens and gains momentum. Noticeable different than the 2022 vintage, as this wine shows more resistance all the way through the finish. Indicative of the symmetry of the great 2023 vintage, the tightly-wound granular tannins form a palisade around a powerful core of brooding, peak level Pinot Noir flavor. Dusty river rocks and roasted oak take hold toward the end only to press the finish even further. A fantastic sensory experience once again, and a wine that will need your patience in order to be fully understood.

What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
