"Wild Duck Creek's offerings can be the most concentrated and wickedly wild wines of Heathcote, but this vintage appears to have tamed some of this winery's fire and brimstone characteristics. However, at 16% alcohol, the 2003 Shiraz Springflat is no wimp. It exhibits surprising minerality along with crisp acidity as well as loads of blackberry and cassis fruit interwoven with background floral and new oak notes. Spicy, deep, medium to full-bodied, and impressively endowed, it requires several more years of bottle age, and should last for 12-15 years."

Deep colour. Intense dark chocolate/ inky aromas with some liquorice/aniseed notes. The palate is very concentrated " almost essence-like " with dark cherry/ chocolate flavours, pronounced tannins and marked acidity. Still in evolution. Andrew Caillard MW

What do you need from me to get started?

How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer.
