2023 Jane Eyre Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 750mL
Est. range:
Tax included.
One of Jane Eyre's Australian Pinot Noir bottlings, this Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is pretty and perfumed with deftly-drawn out, silky tannins.
"From vines around 30 years old; native-yeast ferment with 20% whole bunches; matured in French oak (20% new) for 10 months. This is the most compressed of the Australian pinot trio, playing a little more savoury presently. Sour cherries, cranberries, lightly earthy with brown spices, the tannins reinforcing the savoury impression. Like the other two wines in this release, that balance of refined fruit purity and natural structure is artfully handled, the extraction à point. This just needs a little longer to show all its charms."

Overview
Jane Eyre has become a reputable name in Burgundy, reaching great heights in 2021 after being awarded the prestigious Négociant of the Year award by La Revue du Vin de France. Each year she returns to her home state of Victoria, as well as Tasmania, to produce a line of terroir-driven Pinot Noirs in limited quantities from exceptional sites. There is a cohesive style across both the French and Australian Pinot Noirs, a thread of clarity and expression of vintage and place, that has built a strong following.

Buying At Auction?
Your Questions, Answered
What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.
What are your freight charges?
Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.
Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
