Estate & Style

Maison Dampt is renowned for producing classic, terroir-driven Chablis that faithfully expresses Burgundy’s most prestigious vineyards. Their Grand Cru bottlings come from the region’s finest south-facing slopes, where old vines, limestone-rich soils and meticulous viticulture create wines of exceptional purity, power and longevity.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Brilliant pale gold with subtle green reflections.
Nose: Intensely aromatic with layers of citrus zest, ripe stone fruit, white flowers, crushed seashells and fine mineral notes.
Palate: Powerful yet refined. Concentrated flavours of lemon curd, white peach and green apple sit over a tight mineral core. The texture is silky with exceptional balance between richness and Chablis’ signature acidity. The finish is long, saline, elegant and deeply persistent.
Overall Character: A superb, structured Grand Cru with classical Chablis tension, purity and depth. Will age beautifully yet offers vibrant complexity even in its youth.

Buying At Auction?

Your Questions, Answered

What do you need from me to get started?

We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.

How many wines are in each Lot?

You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.

Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?

All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.

How much is the Buyers' Commission?

We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

What are your freight charges?

Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?

Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
