The Balvenie Stories collection celebrates the heritage of craftsmanship and dedication at Balvenie across generations. The 27 Year Old Distant Shores edition showcases a rare maturation in Caribbean Caroni rum casks, inspired by a visit to Balvenie’s Sample Room where exceptional Caroni rum samples were discovered. Master blender David C. Stewart then aged the whisky in these casks, imparting distinctive flavors and a smooth texture.
The nose reveals toasted oak with chocolate, cocoa, vanilla bean, clove, and cinnamon, layered over dried fruit and citrus peel. On the palate, elegant vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit, and creamy caramel complement rich malt and oak. The finish is velvety, with a lingering spiced caramel mocha character.

What do you need from me to get started?

How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
