Yet then they are but a background whiff. Gone, but lingering. Mouth-coating. Yes, mouth-coating, yet pretty; even ephemeral in a way, but in a way all of its own. The black and the dark and the more dominant juicy red berry fruit flavours come out to play, then the very soft and off-stage sotto voce tannins float in over the whole ensemble.
