Pretty aromatics of violets and blackberry, cassis and licorice. There is a concentration and density here. Geranium, tobacco, green\nbean, tomato foliage at summer’s end. Then comes as if a secondary bouquet of pastrami and cinnamon and oak spice and smoke. Cabernet as it should smell. Here we find a savoury and taut palate. That deep and concentrated and dense quality observed on the nose now translates into\ntexture and mouth-weight. Ripe cassis and bright black and dark red berry flavours. A subtle yet hiding-in-plain-sight acidity.
