The long late ripening season of 2017 allowed the fruit to develop good balance and intense flavours, which is reflected in the high quality of the “up the hill” pinots.
The nose is complex and perfumed, with depth and vitality. The classic aromas of red fruit and cherry mingle with hints of spice. The palate is structured and elegant, with luscious mid palate fruit, poised acid, and fine tannins.
