94 Points -James Halliday Wine Companion 2019 “Shiraz (90%), Petite Sirah (10%). Matured in both French and American oak, 30% new, for 18 months. It’s a Z-Force of nature. This is a brute of a red; its dark leather, tar, blackberry, and boysenberry flavours roaring through the palate in confident, if not authoritative, style. A swagger of tannin tops it all off.”

95 Points - Robert Whitley 27/03/2018 - San Diego Wine & Spirits Challenge 2018 “This is an unusual blend for Australia, but Zonte’s Footstep nails it. They’ve managed to tame the aggressive tannins of the petite sirah grape and the combination of petite with Syrah in this expression soars. Loads of Blueberry and red-fruit notes, spicy, with impressive length and very long finish. A stunning wine. Also, a platinum award-winner at the 2018 San Diego

Buying At Auction?
Your Questions, Answered
What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.
What are your freight charges?
Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.
Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
